Elliott Erwitt X Havana Club 7 – Fellowship

A beautiful initiative of Elliott Erwitt and Havana Club 7 to have legendary photographers make a report of Cuba every year.

The kick-off was in 2015, during HAVANA UNSEEN Photo Festival in Amsterdam at the Westergasterrein, by none other than Elliott Erwitt himself. The (then) 87-year-old photographer presented his work in Amsterdam and donated the proceeds of seven of his works to the initiative to facilitate the next photographer. This honor has gone to Turkish photographer Ali Taptik who was allowed to follow Elliott’s footsteps in 2016.

For Havana Club 7, Boozed was allowed to dress up the exhibition space and bar space in both 2015 and 2016, where visitors could drink a delicious canchánchara after the exhibition was visited.

We took care of the entire production including furniture, decoration, custom-made work, printed matter and staff. A very special project that we look back to with pride and pleasure!

Wondering how Cuba’s most consumed cocktail ‘the Canchanchara’ taste? Make it yourself with this recipe.
